Frequently asked questions
How does Förarprov Watch work?
You create a watch with your licence type, test type, test locations and date range. We then automatically search Trafikverket for free slots and alert you the moment one matches. You don't search yourself — the app watches for you.
Why is there no search button?
The app does no live searching. You create a watch and we watch Trafikverket automatically in the background for you. It's gentler on Trafikverket and it's the whole point of the app.
Can I use Förarprov Watch on the web?
Watches are created and managed in the iOS and Android app, because the Trafikverket connection is made with BankID inside the app. This website describes the service, lists test locations and statistics, and sends you to the right app store.
How do I connect my Trafikverket account?
Tap "Get personal data" and log in with BankID. When login completes the app closes the view automatically and drops you on the Watch tab with a green "Connected" marker. We use your session only to search and reserve slots for you.
What does it mean that a watch "ends"?
A watch is one-shot: as soon as it finds (and, for Pro, reserves) a matching slot it ends. To keep watching you create a new watch — which runs "Get personal data" again so the search always uses a fresh session.
